We went there on the invitation of Daniel Schneider from Synjeco SA and his charming wife Agnieszka. To be exact, DAniel invited Zibi to come and show his pipes, and Zibi asked me if I have nothing against to come with. So I did.
Zibi started with a gift. Daniel's face gives us impression that he liked this pipe.
There was a special table for Zibi's pipes. So he put pipes nad I started to admire them.
... there were a lot to admire.
Daniel and Aga made interesting exhibition, whith trial jars: Cornell&Diehl, Samuel Gawith, Gawith Hoggarth.
There was a special guest – Stephen Jones – production manager in Samuel Gawith.
Zibi did his best...
... I spent some time to smoke cigras.
I visited some stands. Generally SwissTabac wasn't big ones. There was calm, excellent atmosphere. It was possible to did a quiet talk there.
Among others I talked with Haralde Kraheberger – export manager in Vauen and we prepared a ground to do an interesting interview with... well, I will tell about it next time. :)
Vauen this year prepared, or strictly saing, designed a pipe with Volker Hundertmark - well-known designer.
This is the last year pipe prepared with well-known tv presenter and cook in Germany.
I visited a Savinelli stand, Swiss prices...
A Zbyszek did his best... and explained what a big pleasure is from the smoke going through stem to the mouth...
Last farewell picture... and we were on our way to Poland. But via Czech Rep. and Praha.
In Praha we were lucky to be guests of weekly pipe smokers meeting. There was a small competition, so the winner got one of my books.
Then late time talks... and being back home an next day.
