I was in Swiss this time. It was a small town called Schaffhausen. I flew from Berlin with Air-Berlin to check if cheap air-lines are as good as Lufthansa :-).

Following interesting news for pipe-smokers – competitors. On the web of Russian Pipe Forum are results of 3rd Open Championship of  Sankt Petersburg, Russia.

Sad news arrived on Monday. Kazimierz Róg – co-founder BROG Company, co-worker and friend of Zbyszek Bednarczyk. Wonderful man! On Sunday June 26th was gone forever after long disease. Farewell Kazimierz! From now, you will live forever in our memory!

Next pipe-smokers' meeting this summer is over. This time it took place in Krakow and there were two events. First of them attrected dozens of pipe-smokers from Poland and Czech Republic.

2nd - 4th of June this year there was the Académie de la Pipe meeting because of its XXth Anniversary.

May 27th, 2005  David Bull – secretary of United Pipe Clubs of America send me an e-mail with link to the web page describing The 3rd National Championship in slow pipe-smoking, which took place in Chicago, May 15th, 2005.

Sunday was the last day of Chicago Pipe Show. The Championship of USA – international contest in slow pipe-smoking was made this day.
There was the ceremony of 'Polish Pipe-smokers' Friend' diploma giving away, which I do traditionally this day.
